Technical Lead UX

We are looking for a Technical Lead UX with the main responsibility for providing technical guidance to team members, product owners and stakeholders in UX implementation for our embedded automations system. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa or Turku, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities:
 
As a Technical Lead UX, your work will include close collaboration with UX developers to ensure technically sound development, you will be responsible for technology roadmaps for UX and you will support product management with technical input to product roadmap. We hope you are interested to explore and learn about the latest developments in your area of expertise by following trends in the business area. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the technical leadership team with diverse expertise.
 
Requirements for the position: 

 

  • Relevant university education
  • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership of front-end development using Web technologies
  • 10+ years of experience in the field of UX development.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English, our everyday work language is English

 
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 
 

  • Excellent teamwork, coaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to form a technical vision and communicate it efficiently
  • Skills to process requests together with the team and product owner to define team deliverables
  • Hands-on experience in relevant web technologies such as HTML & CSS, JavaScript, React etc.
  • Competence in the following areas is seen as a benefit:
    • CI tools such as Atlassian
    • Edge knowledge
