Field Service Coordinator

We are actively seeking a Service Coordinator on a permanent basis to join our team in Fareham, Hampshire, UK. 

 

 

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

 

  • Supervision of Field Service teams to ensure accurate and professional standard of field service deliverables.

  • Manage and coordinate commissioning and/or complex Field Service activities.

  • Plan activities, resources, spare parts, costs and time schedule for the complex work order.

  • Coordinate people when they are assigned on a work order and act as contact person for customer during the order.

  • Accurate order processing, invoicing and job management.

  • Ensure that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.

  • Follow-up and report the status of the complex work order to customer or relevant internal stakeholders.

 

What do we expect from you?

 

  • Previous experience in a Service Coordinator role is essential
  • Proven skills managing a remote team of Field Service Engineers
  • Working knowledge of SAP would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
  • Good time management and organisation skills 
  • Able work effectively and efficiently independantly and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English
