Ón-call Trainee

Wärtsilä Shared Service Center (WSSC) supports the Wärtsilä companies in financial accounting or other operational tasks and acts as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance. WSSC is striving for harmonized one global Wärtsilä way of working worldwide with high quality, timely, effective and efficient processes. WSSC is sharing best practices and knowledge with focus on continuous development and operational excellence. We are now looking for On-Call trainees to join our Payments team in Vaasa, Finland.

You have the possibility to work beside school, as the position is part-time. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.


As a trainee your daily tasks will include:

· Executing supplier and travel re-imbursement payments, booking of bank statement transactions

· Liquidity forecasting

· Period end closing activities related to payments

· Improving payments process by effective and active teamwork


You will shine in this role when you are/have:

· Studying B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business Economics

· Advanced English, other languages are seen as advantage

· Experience of working in shared service center

· Open-minded and agile personality

· Flexibility and good team working skills

· Positive attitude and pro-active thinking

· Can-do attitude and like challenges
