Agile coach

We are looking for Agile coach with a main responsibility in guiding and supporting multiple cross-functional teams in adopting and continuously improving agile ways of working. Your focus will be on optimising outcomes across the entire Engine Automation organisation ensuring alignment, collaboration, and delivery effectiveness at scale. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities
As Agile coach your work will include coaching teams and leaders in agile principles and mindset, as well as driving organizational improvement by removing cross-team impediments, enabling collaboration, and leading change initiatives hands-on.
Also, we expect you to design pragmatic agile practices for combined hardware/software development and promote transparency, experimentation, and continuous learning. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of scrum master team with diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:
- Significant experience (5+ years) as an Agile Coach or similar role in complex product development environments.
- Proven track record of driving organisational change initiatives end-to-end.
- Experience coaching in environments combining software and hardware development (e.g., embedded systems, mechatronics, or similar).
- Deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or similar) and the wisdom to apply them pragmatically.
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and training skills.
- Ability to influence without authority across organisational boundaries.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Finnish or other languages are a plus).

- Experience in industrial automation, marine technology, or engine/powertrain development as well as certifications such as ICP-ACC, CSP-SM, SA, SPC, or equivalent. is seen as merit.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD in embedded or automation contexts.
