Application Engineer Environmental

We are looking for an Application Engineer with a main responsibility in Environmental aspects. The preferred location for this position is in Vaasa, Finland, but also Turku or Helsinki is negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work. 
Your role and responsibilities:

As an Application Engineer Environmental, your work will include:


  • Be globally the interface between Hardware engineering and Product management, sales engineering/delivery in the expertise area
  • Together with Health and safety and sourcing, assist in the development of new suppliers and products
  • Keep up to date with the relevant requirements and legislation globally
  • Be responsible for LCA calculations and EPD documentation
  • Provide support to the sales and proposals teams as well as the delivery and service team
  • Develop product technical documentation, including application notes and input to product manuals
  • Provide customer feedback and market requirements back to the PM organisation to further product development and portfolio management

 The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the Product Management and Application Engineering team with diverse expertise.   
Requirements for the position: 


  • BS or MS degree in the Environmental or Energy field.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in Energy storage / Renewable energy field. 
  • New graduates can also be considered based on their respective merits. 
  • Proficiency in LCA, EPD analysis and software
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers, peers, subordinates, vendors, shop and office in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player attitude internally and externally 
  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time
