We are looking for an Automation Engineer with a main responsibility in engine automation system software development. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa or Turku in Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities:
As an Automation Engineer, your work will include designing, implementing and testing new functionalities to our engine control system with C/C++ languages, working with electronics defining requirements for hardware and software and maintaining an automation product. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of the agile development team with diverse cross-functional expertise.
Requirements for the position:
- Suitable Master's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Process Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Fluency in verbal and written English, our everyday work language is mainly English
- Experience in automated testing and DevOps
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
- Embedded Linux development knowledge
- Experience in agile development practices
- Knowledge of digital signal processing
- Quality mindset
