Catalyst Systems is a product line in Power Supply business line. We are developing, managing, and delivering world class emission control solutions for Wärtsilä engines. We are looking for a Catalyst Expert for our enthusiastic research and development team.

 

Your role and responsibilities 

 

In this position you will be a key contributor in R&D efforts to develop and maintain a top-class product portfolio, while taking a giant leap to develop catalyst solutions for operation with decarbonized fuels of tomorrow.

  • Perform and lead testing of catalyst solutions and their performance
  • Technical responsibility to develop solutions in your area, starting from theoretical investigations all the way to a ready product
  • Collaborate with our sales and delivery teams to provide solutions to meet marine and energy customers emission performance needs

The tasks can and will be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.

 

Expectations

  • A strong drive to participate in developing solutions for a sustainable future
  • MSc or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant area
  • Experience/knowledge in emission control and catalytic after-treatment systems
  • Balancing a bold innovative drive with a systematic approach
  • Good command of English, both oral and written. Swedish and Finnish seen as a beneficial
