Continuous Improvement Expert

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Expert with a main responsibility in facilitating the development of our ways of working, supporting the adoption of improved practices across RDE, and facilitating events for e.g. planning, development, and problem-solving. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
Please note this is fixed term, 21-months long contract.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Continuous Improvement Expert, your work will include facilitating the development and continuous improvement of R&D and Engineering’s ways of working by maintaining and evolving the frameworks, processes, and methodologies that enable effective planning, development, and collaboration.
You will also operatively facilitate regular or topic-specific events such as planning sessions, retrospectives, development workshops, and structured problem‑solving activities by ensuring smooth execution and high-quality outcomes. Your work also includes supporting line managers and teams in adopting and applying improved practices, helping them build their capabilities and work more efficiently.
You will contribute to strengthen a culture of continuous improvement across the organization and actively promote cross‑functional learning and collaboration. You’ll be working as a part of our energetic Continuous improvement & planning team with diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:
· BSc or MSc in Industrial Management, Business development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, International business or long work experience in the area
· Excellent facilitation skills with ability to motivate and energize others
· Strong experience and know-how in continuous improvement, lean and agile methodologies and organizational development
· Ability to lead and support teams in collaborative work also in matrix organization on continuous improvement matters
· Proven track record of structured and systematic way of working with a strong drive for taking development initiatives forward
· Several years of experience in managing projects and change implementation
· SAFe® Practitioner or Certified LeSS Basics certification is required. Other similar credentials are considered an advantage.
Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:
· Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in Finnish, Swedish or Italian is seen as an advantage
· Excellent co-operation, teamwork, and communication skills
· Ability to adapt to frequent changes in plans and the work environment
· Basic knowledge of engineering or product development processes is seen as an advantage
