Cyber Security engineer

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with a main responsibility in Marine, Newbuild, Customer delivery, Solution Engineering, El & Automation Engineering team. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Helsinki, Finland is negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Cyber Security Engineer your work will include Cyber Security documentation, project support and certification. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of an open, flexible and supporting Electrical & Automation Engineering team with diverse expertise.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain cyber security tools, documentation, and guidelines for marine projects

Support team members with project related Cyber documents and solutions.

Collaborate with sub-suppliers on deliveries, testing and technical designs.

Support commissioning team with troubleshooting of network and Cyber Security related topics and solutions.

Provide technical support for sales and supply management.

Contribute to internal development projects that shape the future of maritime cyber security
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology or Electrical and Automation engineering.

Working experience within the Cyber Security and/or network field.

Good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of the marine / shipbuilding industry and classification is seen as an advantage.

Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and systematically.

Good communication and collaboration skills.
-
Responsible, flexible, proactive, stress resistant and planning skills.

Willingness to occasionally travel.
