We are looking for a Data Specialist with a main responsibility in the product portfolio data domain. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland, but other locations in Finland may also be discussed. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.

 

 

Your role

 

As a Data Specialist, your work will focus on ensuring a high standard of product data quality and acting as the business representative and key user for product data management systems. Your primary objective is to enable reliable, consistent, and well governed product data in co-operation with Product Owners. You will be engaging closely with other people as part of a cross-functional product and data team with diverse expertise.

 

 

Your responsibilities include

 

  • Administering and overseeing digital product management tools, databases, and data storage solutions.
  • Collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure the quality of generated product data.
  • Using visualisation and reporting tools to communicate product data insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing and maintaining product data classifications and attributes to support consistent data practices and data architecture.
  • Participating actively in the ongoing development of digitalisation and data capabilities within the organisation.
  • Acting as a key user for selected digital tools, offering expertise and guidance to other users.

 

 

Qualifications – to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have

 

  • At least 3 years of experience working with product data management (PDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
  • Experience creating reports and visualisations based on data pipelines.
  • Capability to understand the broader context of data architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with engine power plant products is considered an advantage.
