We are now looking for a HSE Engineer to the Testing & Validation Test Services team to strengthen work safety. This position will work together with the STH HSE team.
The location for this permanent position is Vaasa, Finland.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve work safety in Testing & Validation organisation
- Near miss observation supervision and follow-up
- OHS related incident investigation and follow-up
- Participate in internal audits
- Provide safety guidance in planning and commissioning of new installations
- Participate in OHS risk assessments
- Provide safety orientation and training for employees and subcontractors
- Develop safety procedures related to work safety
- Support work safety related tasks in projects
Requirements:
- Work in similar position is seen as an advantage
- Experience of risk analyses is seen as an advantage
- Experience of working with fuels and chemicals is seen as an advantage
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Proactive and self-going person
- Good Finnish and English knowledge. Swedish is as an advantage.
