Lead Developer STH

We are looking for a Lead Developer STH to join our team!

 

A dedicated, Lead Developer for STH (Sustainable Technology Hub) is responsible for Teamcenter development, new enhancements, Level 3 support, Problem Management, Continuous feature improvements for Teamcenter Manufacturing process planner, EBOM, PBOM/ MBOM, integrations from Teamcenter to Manufacturing Execution System and SAP along with the agile sprint routines and business interaction in own responsibility area in coordination with the rest of the team.


The Lead Developer will be part of the Continuous Product Development Team to continue the developments and improvements started in the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) project. Design for Manufacturing is a critical process in manufacturing and delivering Engines to the customer. The DFM solution is mainly implemented in our global Teamcenter PLM Platform which is integrated into SAP and the Manufacturing execution system.

 

Position information:

 

This is a permanent position and it is preferably located onsite in Vaasa. Other locations in the same time zone can also be considered. 


Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Have the overall technical leadership of the development area and the team together with the Wärtsilä Technical Lead.
  • Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
  • Guide the development team in terms of technical direction and best practices.
  • Give guidance to the developers in design decisions and enforce coding standards.
  • Perform development and testing for new enhancements and bug fixes for the Wärtsilä PDM/PLM system area related to STH.
  • Develop/ Maintain Manufacturing related features in Teamcenter and Active Workspace
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in the software.
  • Provide the 3rd level of support and guidance for specified areas/ modules of the PDM/PLM system.
  • Involvement in PDM/PLM Project deployment/ implementation.
  • Maintain and create related technical or process documentation.
  • Ensure the successful delivery and implementation according to the agreed plan.
  • Willingness to learn Teamcenter, SAP
  • Programming skills- in Teamcenter Configuration & Customization, Active workspace customizations, TC MPP module, SQL, Java, C++

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Senior Developer 8+ years experience in Teamcenter Configuration & Customization, Active workspace customizations, TC MPP module, SQL, Java, C++
  • Education: M.Sc., Graduate in Information Technology, Engineering or Sciences
  • Years of experience of Teamcenter configuration and customization experience
  • Min. 2~3 years of exp. in developing and configuring TC MPP module.
  • Strong configuration and debugging skills in Teamcenter Dispatcher with various CAD translation
  • Strong configuration and debugging skills in Teamcenter-SAP integration
  • Strong MS SQL skills are an advantage
  • Experience in Easy Plan is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of Manufacturing processes, Data flow and BOM concepts
  • TC customization is a plus
  • Has experience in DevOps and Agile methodology
  • Has strong communication, presentation and personal skills
  • Has fluent written and spoken English
  • Is Proactive with Problem-solving solving, decision-making and has a customer-oriented mindset
