Manager, Analysis and Automation

We are looking for a Manager, Analysis and Automation to lead our expert team and to act as a gatekeeper to new analysis, reporting, and automation requests while managing active networks with GLS stakeholders, IM, and external providers.

 

This position is permanent, and the primary location is Vaasa, Finland. Additionally, other major WGLS locations can be considered.

 

As a Manager, Analysis and Automation, you will be accountable for:
 

  • WGLS KPI definition and follow-up by GLS functions
  • On-time and quality management reporting
  • Team and competence development
  • Speed and quality of analysis and automation
  • Management of external suppliers (e.g. Acodis for document GAI)
  • Ownership of process documentation quality (in a BPM, business process management system) based on the input from GLS functions

 

Main responsibilities of the position:

 

  • Lead and develop the team and related competence
  • Provide monthly management reports and be a thought leader on WGLS KPI
  • Identify deviations to target operations and perform root cause analysis
  • Agree with an operational unit on countermeasures and with what report to follow up on effectiveness
  • Review the number of reports and clean out while also reviewing applied technologies of reporting systems and data models (the target is on root cause analysis/follow-up)
  • Represent GLS in corporate projects for analytic developments (e.g. currently NOVA)
  • Gatekeeper decisions on what analysis, reporting, and automation may be developed and what are the right choices of tools (RPA, IBPM, process mining, data mining, AI, generative AI) while considering development efforts, benefits, costs and service costs
  • HR authority for the expert team of Analysis and Automation

 

Development responsibilities:

 

  • Development of reporting for continuous improvement of key KPIs or as requested by the functions
  • Competence development regarding digitalisation
  • Process and system development for Analysis and Automation
