We are looking for a

 

Manager, Strategic Logistics

 

with a main responsibility in developing and managing logistics quality, partner performance and contracting. You will also be a key contributor to the logistics strategy and execution within the Energy Business.

 

In this role, you will work closely with EPP Logistics team, Category team, and external logistics partners to support business growth and operational excellence.

 

The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Turku or Helsinki, Finland.

We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
 

 

What will you be doing?

 

As a Manager, Strategic Logistics your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Management Systems tailored towards transportation partners in EPP Logistics.
  • Evaluate logistics market trends, capacity, and risks to support mid to long‑term planning and decision‑making, strategy execution and risk management.
  • Contribute to global logistics frameworks, contracting models, and partner strategies.
  • Maintain and verify logistics partners compliance and capability towards QMS.
  • Member in Global Category team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions with our partners and internally.
  • Monitor and report partner related KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations and internal company standards.

 

 

Requirements for the position:

 

  • + 5 years of work experience in project logistics and global transportation
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
  • Strong understanding of logistics contracting, cost structures, and forward-looking risk management.
  • Good command of English, other languages are seen as an advantage.
