We are looking for a Master Thesis Worker with the main responsibility of developing manufacturing assets’ predictive/preventive maintenance strategy and analysis models for the Component Delivery organization. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. The working model is mainly onsite and includes a monthly salary, with a contract duration of max. 8 months.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Master Thesis Worker, your work will include defining, measuring, and analysing factory maintenance–related areas. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as part of a wide network with internal and external expert teams with diverse expertise. The Master Thesis can start as soon as possible.
Your Master Thesis work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Develop and define maintenance strategies with a focus on predictive maintenance
- Focus area is machining centres and machining operations (proof of concept & measurement)
- Analyse and improve models together with internal & external stakeholders
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- Possibility to work onsite in Vaasa
- A technical degree
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of industrial maintenance strategy principles
- Experience in factory maintenance (e.g., high automation–level environments)
- Interest in using data analytics tools & methods
