On-Call Trainee, Electrical Systems

We are currently seeking a motivated On-Call Trainee with a background in Electrical/Automation or relevant discipline to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in advanced electrical and automation technologies. As an On-Call Trainee, you can work up to 25 hours per week. The person who is selected for this role needs to be a full-time student studying for a degree in Finland. You will be a member of a dynamic team of Electrical systems development managers and experts, and you will report to the General Manager, Electrical Systems.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
• Conduct research and development on cutting-edge communication protocols such as IEC61850, GOOSE, and OPC-UA for Intelligent Electrical Devices (IEDs) with the support from team experts
• Support the installation and commissioning of a test rig setup at our test laboratory
• Assist team experts with technical documentation and specification updates
Qualifications:
• Ongoing studies in field of Electrical/Automation or relevant Engineering
• Familiarity with electrical machinery and industrial communication protocols
• Strong interest in E&A systems and digital communication technologies.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
