On-call Trainee

Wärtsilä Shared Service Centre (WSSC) supports the Wärtsilä companies in financial accounting and other operational tasks and acts as a gatekeeper to ensure compliance.

 

We are now looking for energetic and committed students to work as On-call Trainees (0-25h/week) to strengthen the invoice-to-pay team located in Vaasa, Finland. You will work with Wärtsilä companies around the world and support the handling of purchase invoices and other related tasks. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.

 

Your role and responsibilities:

 

As an Invoice to Pay Trainee your work will include handling incoming purchase invoices, solving issues, and being in contact with various Wärtsilä teams and suppliers.  You’ll be working as a part of a committed and energetic Invoice-to-pay team with diverse expertise. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independence, as you will have support from the team.
For us to be the best match, we expect you to have some studies in accounting and experience from working in a customer-facing role. For you to succeed in this position, we hope you have a mindset for continuous improvement and are open to learning new skills.

 

Requirements for the position:

 

  • Currently studying Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or similar in Finland
  • A systematic and organized way of working 
  • Self-driven and development-oriented attitude
  • Good knowledge of English and other language skills is considered a benefit
  • The right to work in Finland
