We are looking for a Plant Operations Expert to STH plant system development team. In this job, you work as a part of Plant Development team. The Plant Development team works as an expert in plant projects. You will influence and participate in a rapidly developing plant environment. We offer a technically diverse and flexible environment, focusing on new plant technologies and maintaining the current systems. We work as an enabler for the future engine technology.
This job requires a determined and systematic approach to moving things forward.
The location for this position is in Vaasa, Finland.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Plant Operations Expert, your work will include:
- Plant support for engine testing
- Commissioning and start-up of new / updated system
- Installation supervision for plant development and optimization projects
- Plant system development and optimization works
- Be the technical support for different project related issues
- Support in plant instructions & user manuals
- Secure that plant have needed spare parts to minimize plant downtime in case of equipment failure
- Implementing and promoting new safety culture regarding sustainable fuels
- Perform plant development planning work in cooperation with several project teams
To succeed in this position, you are expected to:
- Have several years of experience in installation and commissioning of Marine / Energy projects
- Self-propelling active personality with excellent communication and team working skills
- Be pro-active and have cost awareness and effectiveness skills
- Finnish and English language skills are required, and Swedish skill is considered as an advantage
You will shine in this role if you have:
- Previous experience working in large construction projects is considered as an advantage
- Project Management skills
- Experience in using SAP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, M-files
- Procurement skills
- Negotiation skills & Presentation skills
- Problem solving skills
