Process Safety Manager

We are looking for a Process Safety Manager with a main responsibility for fulfilling all regulatory requirements of our large-scale chemical processes. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.
Your role and responsibilities:
As a Process Safety Manager, your work will include securing a safe and redundant test facility for regular and future fuels and you have the passion to improve safety processes and a talent to influence people positively. You’ll be working as a part of the T&V Test Services team with diverse expertise.
Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Development of process safety as well as coordinating the team of supervisors and safety experts
- Definition of process safety operational principles, follow-up of function, as well as evaluation and coordination of the status including training, people introductions, inspections, audits, and maintenance procedures
- Organisation of chemical supervisor tasks
- Support design, planning and project work for process improvements
- Assessment and mitigation of risks for major process incidents
- Coordination of cooperation with permission and inspection authorities
- Ensure that safety is on top of the agenda and properly balanced among other requirements
- Enable sufficient and high-quality communication within the teams and with stakeholders
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- Suitable BSc or MSc degree and experience in process- or chemical industry
- Experience with maintenance work
- Ability to adapt laws and standards to process-technical solutions
- Experience with permission and inspection authorities like Tukes
- Good teamwork, interaction and persistence skills
- Proactive and self-going person with a doer’s attitude
- Understanding of automation and cyber security risk evaluation
- Good English and Finnish knowledge, Swedish knowledge is an advantage
