Product Cost Analyst

We are looking for a
Product Cost Analyst
with a main responsibility in monitoring Product Cost in PM&SS. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Trieste, Italy is possible location. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
As a Product Cost Analyst your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Planning and execution of quarterly activities related to Material cost Rolling Forecast
- Handling and monitoring of Actual Cost analysis and Product Cost Trajectory
- Support to Long Range Plan Product Cost Estimate
- Maintenance and reporting of Product Cost KPI
- Quarterly updating of the Orderbook Margins
- On-demand analysis for Product Cost comparison cross-portfolio
- The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Product Management and Sales Support function within Power Supply Business Unit with diverse expertise.
- You will cooperate in synergy with several stakeholders across business unit functions.
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
- Academic background in economics and/or Engineering
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and all standard MS Office package
- Basic knowledge of Power BI
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Python or other programming skills are seen as an advantage
- Excellent Presentation and Communication Skills
- English Language
- Proactive Team worker
- Genuine interest in Product Cost principles and relevant understanding (experience in cost analysis and reporting is considered as an advantage)
- Strong Analytic and challenging approach to cost evaluation
- Facilitate the decision-making process related to product cost development
- Dealing with multi-cultural and cross functional environment (RDE, Business Control, Sales, SM, Delivery Mgmt... Etc)
- Good Problem solving and Presentation skills
- Self-propelled person with can-do and proactive attitude
In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 20%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
