Our products reduce marine engine NOx emissions, enabling compliance with IMO Tier III standards and beyond.
We are seeking a Product Engineer to join our Catalyst Systems Products Technical Management team in Finland. The preferred location is Vaasa Finland, but Turku may also be considered. Please note that relocations costs and/or immigration support is not available for this position.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an early-career or mid-level engineer who wants to broaden their technical expertise and gain exposure to product management, technical documentation, customer support, and product development activities.
Your role and responsibilities :
- Product management and documentation.
- Create, maintain, and update product manuals and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate technical information.
Requirements for the position:
- B.Sc. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of process and mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience in technical documentation and structured authoring environments (e.g., IXIA/IXIASOFT and familiarity with XML- or DITA-based documentation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with modern AI-powered tools and willingness to leverage them to improve efficiency in technical documentation, information management, and problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive, systematic, and organized approach to work.
- Strong communication and customer orientation skills.
Considered an advantage:
- Proficiency in Finnish and/or Swedish.
- Experience in the marine industry.
- Experience with SCR systems, other emission control solutions, and/or engines.
- Previous experience in technical support, product management, product engineering, or documentation-related roles.
