Wärtsilä Energy is looking for a Project Engineer, Electrical. This position is located in Vaasa, Finland.
The main responsibilities for this role are:
- Supporting project and sales teams with project-specific Electrical & Automation design
- Carrying out and coordinating assigned project activities, integration engineering and technical correspondence with internal team members, vendors, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Creating project-specific technical specifications and design requirements for purchasing purposes
- Carrying out sub-supplier delivery and quality follow-ups
- Acting as a stand-in for Chief Project Engineers
- Supporting site team during installation and commissioning
Development responsibilities for this role are:
- Participate in developing and maintaining tools and work methods in own responsibility area
- To give, collect, and handle feedback regarding technical solutions and complaints
- Provide lessons learned initiatives for developing issues in own responsibility area
For you to be able to shine in this role, we hope that you have the following experience:
- BSc. or MSc. in Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Being self-going, having teamwork skills, being motivated to learn and grow professionally
- Being willing to travel, as well as being able to understand and work with diverse cultures
- Working experience is seen as a benefit
- Ability to communicate in English
