We are looking for a Project Engineer, Process, with the main responsibility of providing process design for engine power plant projects. The location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, Process, your work will include:
- Engineering process flow diagrams, P&IDs and device lists
- Performing process calculations and simulations needed for process design
- Creating process descriptions
- Coordinating process design with the core project team, internal experts, design partners and sub-suppliers in own projects
- Supporting project teams with project-specific design packages and other related tasks
- Participating in development and sales projects with various process design-related tasks
The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You will be working as part of a multicultural and open-minded Process Engineering & Safety team with diverse expertise.
Requirements for the position:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a similar field
- Interest in working in an international team and developing oneself and others
To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have:
- Motivation to learn and grow professionally and to be self-driven
- Good communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to understand and work with diverse cultures
- Good English skills, with the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with different stakeholders
- Capability to efficiently produce technical documents in English
