Project Engineer

Delivery Centre STH's operations are based on teamwork, staff and team development and orchestration to ensure customer needs are met. In order to ensure the orchestration and project management of customer orders, as well as the development of project management and SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, costs) principles, we are now looking for a position Project Engineer to lead customer orders from order to delivery in STH operations consisting continuous development way of working. 
In this position you will report to Project Manager, DC-STH Product Delivery. 
 
Position information:


This position is permanent and the location of the position is in Vaasa, Finland. Other locations cannot be considered. 
 
Your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Lead manufacturing projects in own responsibility area in order to reach safety, quality and delivery targets
  • Plan, collect the needed information and schedule critical milestones of your manufacturing projects with your delivery team
  • Execute and implement your manufacturing projects with your own delivery team, dedicated assembly team, and needed stakeholders according to the customer needs
  • Create, implement, and continuously improve new development team working, project management models and manufacturing processes and tools
  • Collect feedback and keep lessons learned loop on-going with commissioning teams in order to reach maximum continuous development process with your delivery team
  • Ensure project execution and close cooperation with manufacturing parties 
  • Manage key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Build project management capabilities in the DC-STH organisation

  • Good track record in project management and manufacturing principles
  • Understanding of the planned STH environment and orchestration
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, can-do attitude and networking skills
  • Fluent English for customer relations and project specification implementation
  • Ability to create clarity on direction and make-it-happen perspective
