Project Management Specialist

We are looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our Project Planning & Development -team in Research & Development and Engineering function to strengthen our project management capabilities. The position is temporary for 14 months and located in Vaasa or Turku, Finland or Trieste, Italy.
As a Project Management Specialist, you will be supporting our development projects, and initiatives in Project Management related areas. You will be working with topics such as project scheduling, budgeting, scoping, resource- and risk management as well as ensuring our practices follow the guidelines and processes. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our way of working, tools, and processes.
Responsibilities:
Support project management organisation with different tasks:
- Maintain data quality and ensure projects compliance with Company Project Management Methodology and Business Directives
- Develop the project management tools together with the project organisation, development forum and IM
- Support in Project Management development and deployment activities, including acting as a mentor in all areas of project management and train related personnel
- Manage business requirements, follow-up the implementation and secure the communication and user support
- Business line and project management reporting development
About you:
- You are energetic, positive and development-oriented person with a B.Sc or M.Sc degree in a relevant field
- You have work experience in the field of project management
- You have interest in tool development
- You work well with different stakeholders and can be self-driven and productive when working independently
- Ability to present your work’s outcomes to the project team is essential as well as in general good communication skills
- You will use English on daily basis in your work and skills in Finnish and/or Swedish would be a clear advantage
Experience of the following is seen as advantage:
- Clarity, Polarion and SAP tools
- Preparing data models, calculations and data visualization
- PowerBI development and data management
