QA Coach

 

We are now looking for a

 

QA Coach

 

with strong expertise in test automation, CI/CD integration and quality engineering practices to join our Automation & Controls team. In this role you will focus on building test automation solutions, improving development and QA processes and guiding teams towards effective quality practices.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, strong Python skills, and the ability to design scalable testing solutions and quality processes across teams.

Experience with requirement management, test reporting and traceability using Polarion is seen as an advantage.

 

 

As QA Coach your work will focus on these responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead the QA activities without formal role with the aim of fostering a strong QA  culture among teams.
  • Support teams in automation strategy, tooling, and best practices.
  • Review and improve test strategies, test plans, automation coverage, and pipeline reliability.
  • Manage development metrics and KPI’s. Provide metrics information for organization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and automated test suites.
  • Contribute to improving QA and development processes, including proposing and implementing new methodologies.
  • Act as a quality advocate, helping teams build quality into the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams and stakeholders to ensure testability and reliability of systems.

  

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Minimum five years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.
  • Strong experience in test automation development with hardware-in-the-loop testing and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience of improving organizational QA practices or testing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework or similar automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of software development and QA processes.
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring teams in quality engineering practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
