Quality Manager

We are looking for a Quality Manager with a main responsibility in leading quality improvement initiatives inside Research & Development and Engineering. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Trieste or Turku. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities:  
 
As a Quality Manager your work will include leading quality improvement initiatives, support the organization to identify quality related improvement needs, define corrective actions and ensure alignment with quality standards and -control processes. Your responsibilities include also to perform internal audits and support the organisation in facilitating external audits.

The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of energetic Quality & Management Systems Team with diverse expertise. As we are located in multiple sites, occasional traveling is necessary.

 
Requirements for the position: 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Quality- or Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality management and/or process improvement activities, preferably also acting as internal auditor.
  • Proven experience working with QHSE management systems, with knowledge of ISO9001. Familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO45001 are considered as advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, projects or other workstreams effectively.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
  • Competences in using MS Office tools. Previous experience in using PowerBI, QHSE related tools, SAP and other relevant tools is considered as advantage. 
     

As an ideal candidate, you would: 
 

  • Be self-driven and can take ownership of assignments
  • Have good stakeholder management- and collaboration skills
  • Have strong background in leading operational development assignments 
  • Prefer team working and is capable to facilitate sessions
  • Have taken Internal Auditor, Lean Six Sigma -belt trainings or similar continuous improvement trainings
  • Previous experience from R&D operations is seen as advantage.
