Sales support engineer

Marine Power, Part Services is looking for a Sales Support engineer to the 4-stroke sales support team. Sales support team is responsible for offering engine and auxiliary products and services for the 4-Stroke business line. In this position you will be responsible to support marine business in Europe and Africa. You will closely co-operate with local sales and sales support, Sales managers, Product Management, Technical Services and Product development. This position is permanent, and its preferable locations are Vaasa, Helsinki or Turku.

Responsibilities:
As a Sales Support Engineer your main responsibilities are: 
- Prepare quotations, project calculation, product support and cost calculations according to internal customers need. (Excel, Word) 
- Give sales support on engine related tasks to 4-stroke Sales and Wärtsilä Service Units, having focus on Europe and Africa.
- Prepare overhauls with service calculation office.

Tasks cover mechanical and electrical parts offering as well as giving support to sales for delivery process.

Requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Focused and can-do attitude
- Good co-operation and communication skills
- Knowledge of Wartsila 4-S products. 
- Good understanding on Wartsila organization and sales & delivery processes.
- Good knowledge on our customers business in Marine. 
- Good skills for MS Office tools, Word, Excel.  
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Experience in engine and auxiliary systems.

- Experience from Mechanical or Electrical Field Service is seen as advantage.
