We are now looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Section Manager, Electrical to join our forward-looking team. Your main goal is to lead and manage the electrical works at energy storage sites. The office location for this position is Vaasa, Turku or Helsinki, but you will work abroad for longer periods. The trips to the sites are months long and the yearly travelling days will be approximately 250.

As Section Manager, Electrical your work will focus on these responsibilities 

  • Manage and lead the electrical installation works at site
  • Participate in electrical installation works at site
  • Participate in and manage commissioning and handing-over procedures
  • Perform start-ups and testing of the installed equipment and document the results
  • Maintain good customer relations and team spirit at site
  • Ensure quality and cost efficiency of electrical installations
  • Follow-up the time scheduling and work progress of electrical installations at site and report to relevant parties
  • Prepare, arrange and document weekly electrical site meetings according to need
  • Participate in subcontracting and local purchasing when needed
  • Co-ordinate construction works with civil section
  • Safeguard the compliance with EHS policy and minimize the risks in own section

 

You will shine in this role, when you have:

  • B.Sc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering 
  • Working experience in similar tasks preferred 
  • Good communication and team building skills 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt new technologies 
  • Ability to adjust to a wide range of conditions and cultural environments 
  • Good command of English, both oral and written 
  • Other languages are seen as an advantage
