Senior Installation and Construction Proposal Manager

Solutions & Services Sales Support (Americas), Energy Business is now looking for a Senior Installation & Construction Proposal Manager. This is a permanent position and the primary location is Vaasa, Finland.

What will you be doing?
As an Installation & Construction Proposal Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

- Leading subcontracting proposal management during sales stage
- Act as proposal leader for complex projects
- Configure subcontracting RFQ/tender according to project requirements and local requirements
- Leading clarification/negotiations in proposal management tasks for subcontracting
- Leading technical & commercial evaluation of subcontractor proposal to ensure accurate price level together with key stakeholders
- Coordination of sales opportunity subcontracting tasks with centralized organisations
- Coordinate/support follow-up of cost deviations between sales budget and actual costs related to subcontracting
- Transfer the cost information to Project Management and support Project Management in execution as per need
- Support Project Management in subcontractor negotiations during project execution
- Scan the assigned countries for new potential sub-contractors, engineering companies, suppliers and Service providers. Submitting the inputs to the Subcontracting Manager for them to evaluate
- Participate in opportunity sales support team and establish team selling approach
- Participate in technical clarification management (deviations, clarifications and risk)
- Participate in Risk & Opportunity reviews and in Sales Kick-off meetings (MS01)
- Support market development in designated Area/Region
- Support and participate in Win / Lost sales project analysis
What we expect from you:
- Minimum 10 years experience of Wärtsilä Energy Business Project Management / Site Management / Proposal Management work.
- Excellent Wartsila EB Solution installation/construction understanding
- Excellent understanding of Wartsila subcontracting process and different subcontracting/construction strategies.
- Strong understanding of Wärtsilä Solutions
- Good mentoring and advisory capabilities
- Good understanding of Wärtsilä ES Sales Process
- Wartsila APEX tool knowledge a plus
- Polarion tool knowledge a plus
- Goal focused and a "can do" attitude
- Willingness to travel
