Senior Security Manager

We are looking for a Senior Security Manager with main responsibility for corporate security development and implementation in the Wärtsilä Finland Oy local entity. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Helsinki and Turku are negotiable. We offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.

 

Your role and responsibilities 

 

As a Senior Security Manager, you are responsible for corporate security in the local Wärtsilä Finland entity, including physical security, travel and personnel security. You’ll be working as a part of the local Wärtsilä Finland Oy management team as well as part of the Corporate Security network with diverse expertise. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of Wärtsilä’s 24/7 Global Security Management Centre functionality, operated by the service provider. As a Senior Security Manager you are also responsible for coordinating business continuation, risk assessment and incident management team activities in Wärtsilä Finland Oy as well as managing collaboration with local security authorities.

 

Requirements for the position: 

 

  • Proven track record with at least 10 years of experience in security management
  • Experience in developing and implementing security management policies and practices
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning and risk management
  • Experience in collaboration with security authorities and service providers
  • Experience in developing and implementing security management technology and systems
  • Experience in developing and operating global security management and monitoring centre services
  • Solid understanding of physical security management and good knowledge of cyber security
