Senior automation hardware developer

We are looking for an Automation Hardware Developer with a main responsibility in hardware systems engineering with lifecycle understanding. The preferred locations for this position are Vaasa and Turku, Finland. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities:  
 
As an Automation hardware developer your work will include collecting needs and defining requirements, electronics systems engineering and supplier collaboration. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of energetic Automation & Controls team with diverse expertise.
 
Requirements for the position: 


•    Suitable master's or bachelor's degree 
•    Over 3 years’ experience on electronics systems engineering, including lifecycle aspects
•    Experience in refining requirements for electronics and collaboration within partner network
•    Experience in automated hardware testing practices and DevOps
•    Fluency in verbal and written English, our everyday work language is English
•    Good communication and teamwork skills
 


Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have: 


•    Experience in agile development practices
•    Experience in developing embedded electronics
•    Knowledge in digital signal processing
•    Knowledge in latest CPU and FPGA technologies
•    Quality mindset
