In Wärtsilä Marine, the Business Process Automation Development team is looking for an RPA Solution Expert. The person we are looking for should have a technical mind set and passion to become expert in the RPA area. The Solution Expert is responsible for developing, refining and quality checking processes within the RPA platform together with citizen developers, process managers, and other RPA stakeholders. Location for this position is Vaasa, Finland.

Main responsibilities:

• Refine and quality check existing and new RPAs from Wärtsilä Marine businesses 
• Automation development of identified business processes with the RPA platform together with the RPA team in Marine business
• Participate in RPA environment development and maintenance
• Manage the documentation and communication in own responsibility area
• Implement and design coding sequences for securing re-usability in RPA development
• Work closely with business process and technology teams to develop and deliver sophisticated automations
• Design, execute, develop, and test automations 

This is what we would expect from you:

• Desire to get involved with the latest technologies and to become an expert in robotic process automation
• Experience in process automations and/or robotic process automation technologies (e.g. UiPath)
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent education
• Experience in Microsoft stack & packages e.g. .NET / Windows Workflow Foundation
• Knowledge of database & integration technologies 
• Proactive, analytical, and goal-focused, with a can-do attitude
• Experience in using version control systems
• Fluent written and spoken English 

These skills would be seen as an advantage:

• Knowledge of AI agent building (e.g. UiPath or Microsoft)
• Interest and basic knowledge in ML/AI and agentic automation
• Knowledge of cyber security 
• Hands-on software development experience in any of the programming languages & platforms .NET / VB / C# / C++ / Java / Blazor
• Experience with BPMN 2.0 standards
• Experience in delivering Agile delivery stream 
• Experience in CI/CD stack used for packaging, testing and deployments
• Experience in Power BI
