We are looking for a Solution Specialist with a main responsibility in Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Power BI development. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work. 
  
Your role and responsibilities:
 
As a Solution Specialist your work will include supporting the organization’s AI strategy by developing Copilot-based solutions, acting as the primary AI contact, training staff, and creating AI tools using Microsoft technologies while staying current with AI trends. Additionally, the position includes developing and specifying Power BI reports, gathering business requirements, and ensuring reporting supports operational improvements. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You will have the opportunity to directly impact our business success and help us stay at the cutting edge of technological advancements. Requirements for the position: 

•    Proficiency in AI technologies and tools, particularly Microsoft Copilot
•    Basic knowledge of Power BI, including report creation, data modelling, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
•    Experience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud-based AI services
•    A Master’s Degree or Master of Business Administration in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
•    At least 1-3 years of experience in AI and data analytics, with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI solutions and Power BI reports

Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:

 
•    Data Science skills: Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI
•    Programming skills: C, C#, JAVA, MATLAB, VHDL
•    Databases skills: MS SQL server, Oracle, mySql
•    ITIL Foundation v3 or equivalent IT Services certification
•    Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
•    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
•    A positive mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and develop
