We are now looking for looking for development minded Solution manager for Onsite services; being accountable for delivering high quality, cost effective user support services to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

 

Your main focus will be to 

- Manage and develop global user support services on all levels with Onsite services as main focus area. Wärtsilä onsite support services are delivered to 69 countries and to more than 200 sites by our strategic partner. 

-  Work closely with various IT service providers, Wärtsilä internal stakeholders and Service Desk function to ensure that different parties work consistently and seamlessly together, create value, and deliver high quality user support services in a most cost effective mode.
- Optimise site specifics onsite delivery models as per the need, for example change the mode from resource based to dispatch based mode of operation and vice versa.  

- Ensure that the agreed service levels are met. Monitor the performance, quality and volumes, and analyse the data to continuously develop the services in collaboration with our partner.  

- Follow up, monitor and report costs in own service area to ensure that the financial targets are met. 

- Participate projects as per the need, e.g. site moves or new site establishments. 

- Research and observe end user behaviour, support models, related tool(s) and processes to design and develop innovative, and high quality services and solutions. 

- Translate end user needs into knowledge requirements and increase the awareness of self-help options in own area via different communication methods and channels. 

- Promote the global support model and Information management services to own stakeholders.
- Optionally, IT Service Management related activities if mutually agreed so based on the candidate profile.
 

Expectations about your background and skills;
- Experience of managing, conceptualising and developing global user support services in a global environment. 
- Experience of managing Onsite support services. 
- Excellent knowledge of IT Service Management and related concepts, process and tools.
- Very good communication, collaboration, facilitation, influencing and change management skills.
- Very good knowledge of ITIL based processes. 
- Feeling comfortable in a matrix environment and having an ability to make things happen. 
- Team player with customer focused mindset.
- Work with passion, is naturally curios and constantly learning new things, empathetic and receptive to the feedback.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
