We are looking for a Supply Quality Manager with a main responsibility in mechanical products and welded steel structures. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Turku office is negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
  

Your role and responsibilities  

 

As a Supply Quality Manager your work will include mechanical products and steel structures quality control inspection and assurance planning. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of highly skilled and influential focused Supplier Development and Quality Assurance team with diverse expertise.

 

Requirements for the position:

 

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in mechanical engineering or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 5 year experience or deep understanding from mechanical engineering, commissioning, design, production or quality control.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, quality documentation, standards, legislations etc.
  • Capability or previous experience on problem solving and root cause analysis.

 

 

Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:

 

  • IWS, IWT, IWE and / or IWI certificates
  • Knowledge from steel structures and EN 1090 standard.
  • NDT experience & knowledge (valid certificates are seen as an advantage).
  • Suppliers in this responsibility area are both domestic and international so fluent in Finnish and English are required to success in this role. Other language skills are seen as an advantage e.g. Germanese.
  • ISO 9001 quality management system. Lead auditor certificate is seen as an advantage.
  • Good with co-operation, communication and decision making. Ability to analyse and visualize data, prepare presentations and present those to stakeholders.
