System Developer (Fuel Injection Systems)

What you will be doing


In this position, your work will include system and component design in NX, light FEM calculations and design reviews with fuel injection suppliers manufacturing Wärtsilä design. On a typical day, you might be starting with design and end the day by giving support in Testing & Validation. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, as you will have the support from Experts and Calculation & Simulation department. For us to be the best match, we expect you to have passion for design. As an ideal candidate, you have gained some experience from hydraulics and have a BSc or Msc degree in Machine construction. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to have a few years of design experience and problem-solving competences and be open for learning new things.


 As System Developer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Design work by making 3d-models & detail drawings
  • Perform light calculations and Support our Calculation & Simulation department
  • Support our fuel injection Manufacturers   
  • Support Testing & Validation department
  • Support Service in field experiences

In this role, some travel is required to meet with our suppliers in Finland and mid Europe. Thus, we hope you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
