Team Leader, Customer Assistance Controller

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader, Customer Assistance Controlling to join the Business Control Centre in Vaasa, Finland.

 

Business Control Centre (BCC) is a virtual organisation whose primary responsibility is operative controlling across all revenue streams and product lines within Wartsila Services. We are now looking for a Team Leader for Customer Assistance Controlling to join us, who will be responsible for CA activities and day to day operative warranty handling.

 

Responsibilities


- Direct line manager of Customer Assistance controllers in BC Center
- Responsible for Customer Assistance controlling within BC Center. Same level of quality and service is to be provided to all stakeholders. 
- Ensure sufficient communication from CA function towards BC Centers stakeholders
- Ensure competence development for CA function within the BC Center
- Identify, follow up and push the realization of actions that improve the efficiency, harmonization and transparency of Wärtsilä and BC Center performance
- Implementation of globally agreed ways of working, tools and processes for CA in BC Center 
- Act as a change catalyst and drive needed changes in CA
- Performs financial analysis of warranty funds and CA projects and perform period end closing tasks working closely with the local team and wider organisation

 

Requirements


- B.Sc or M.Sc. Degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting
- Good financial knowledge, reporting and analysing skills
- Excellent SAP skills, especially in FICO and good skills in other reporting tools such as Qlikview
- Managerial experience, able to lead others through change with a coaching approach
- Understanding of Wärtsilä business and operative business challenges
- Good understanding of business processes and process integration
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with ability to communicate clearly verbally and in written
- Forward thinker who isn't afraid to challenge and has progressive attitude towards tasks and goal
- Development oriented working approach to ensure continuous development of CA operative controlling and processes 
- Service mindset combined with a team player attitude
- Excellent skills in English
- Ability to travel as required
