We are looking for a Technical Sales Support Manager E&A with a main responsibility in Developing and maintaining installation and material costing software on E&A discipline. The preferred location for this position is Vaasa, Finland but also Helsinki,Turku are negotiable. We offer a possibility to hybrid remote work.
  

Your role and responsibilities 

 

As a Technical Sales Support Manager E&A your work will include development and maintenance of Wimce tool, Produce Electrical discipline related technical material, determining local cost levels of installation countries, development of parametrized design models. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Technical Sales Support, Installation costing Team with diverse expertise.

 

Responsibilities for the position:

 

  • Execute Electrical installation and material cost estimations for the Energy Business sales projects according to sales scope of supply, layouts and with other relevant info available for the project
  • Develop and maintain installation and material costing software on Electrical discipline by collecting feedback from internal customers and from other stakeholders
  • Produce Electrical discipline related technical material to be inserted into the application
  • Evaluate and mitigate technical and commercial risks in the cost estimation projects
  • Determine local cost levels of installation countries with the local contractors or partners or with sub-contracting stakeholders in order to expand and maintain global installation cost database. 
  • Support project management personnel and other stakeholders in sub-contracting related matters
  • Provide estimated bill of quantities for tendering for all EPC projects
  • Provide support and offer evaluations for site subcontracting process for all EPC projects
  • Follow-up the actual cost for projects performed and provide /collect feedback to/from parties involved
  • Participate in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate Electrical solutions for new Energy Business solutions together with engineering and technology departments.
  • Analyze supplier offers for Electrical discipline and develop material costing in the software accordingly
  • Develop parametrized design models for the software for Electrical discipline

 

Qualifications/to be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have:

  • BSc. or MSc.in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous job experience from similar field (Tool development) of work is a asset
  • Technical advanced knowhow in own discipline
  • Understanding of Project Management Way of working
  • Cost awareness & effectiveness
  • Experience from parametrized design modelling
  • Basic programming knowledge
  • Problem solving and decision making
