We are looking for an effective and hardworking Trainee, Project Purchaser to strengthen our team. The location of the position is Vaasa (FI). We are offering this possibility to someone in their later stage of studies, who has the possibility to work besides studies. The trainee can work 0- 25 hours/ week, and to be eligible as a trainee, should have a full time student status. There is a possibility to proceed the work as a summer trainee full time for summer 2023.

The work starts as the candidate for the role has been found, and the start date is negotiated.


Your main responsibilities will include to:

As a Project Purchaser Trainee, you are responsible to support the project purchasers with operative purchasing tasks. In your work, you will also ensure alignment and cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Main tasks are:


  • Place orders
  • Order confirmations
  • Create packing list & case labels
  • Assist with logistic tasks
  • Assist in project related tasks
  • Sending claims to suppliers



  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. – Economics, Engineering, or similar education ongoing
  • Good SAP skills
  • Good oral and written English
  • Earlier experience from purchasing tasks
  • Strong personal drive, used to take own initiatives and being pro-active


To succeed as a Project Purchaser Trainee, you should be a team player with good communication skills and a result-oriented attitude. You should have strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.
