Project technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Technician to join the team based in France. As part of our ongoing development, we are recruiting a project technician (electronic / computer system sector) who is fluent in English and available for regular trips both nationally and internationally.

 

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

 

In the framework of a collaboration with the project manager you guarantee the good installation of the system. As such, you are responsible for:
- Project technical specification, system design drawings and scope of supply preparation and review within the limits of time and budget
- System installation, configuration and maintenance services
- Network configuration
- Participation in FAT/SAT, local coordination of works with customer’s representatives and other suppliers.
- Following Quality Management system requirements
- Performing customer support by email, phone and on-site, participation in customer visits.
- Respect the health and safety rules, quality processes and internal procedures of the company

 

What do we expect from you?

 

Bac +2/+3 in electronics and/or computer systems, you have advanced skills in network and Windows operating system, you also have good knowledge in software like Visio and/or Autocad.

Fluent written and spoken English (including technical vocabulary) essential in daily job.

You have ideally a successful experience in the maritime field on similar functions involving the installation and configuration of sensors type radar, VHF, AIS, IP cameras ... etc.

Motivated, organized and good communicator, you care about the result, the quality of the work and the respect of the deadlines imposed, for a guaranteed customer satisfaction.
