Position Overview: 

We are seeking a self-driven Services Market Analyst to join our multinational team. In this position, you will be crucial in driving business growth by providing valuable insights and services market analysis. Your expertise in market research and analysis, coupled with solid technical insights, will enable you to support the company's decision-making process and optimize our service offerings. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Market Research and Analysis: 

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, profitable services space and potential risks within the services market. 
• Analyse market data, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop actionable insights for the management team. 
• Monitor industry publications, reports, and news to stay updated on market dynamics and emerging trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for comprehensive analysis. 

Competitive Analysis: 

• Conduct competitive analysis to assess the positioning of Wärtsilä Gas Solutions' services in the market. 
• Identify key competitors, their offerings, pricing strategies, and market share. 
• Develop competitive intelligence reports and presentations to support strategic decision-making. 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: 

• Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate market insights, pricing analysis, and performance metrics to the management team. 
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement in service offerings, pricing, and profitability. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• University degree in engineering, business management or a related field  
• Proven experience as a market analyst or similar role, preferably in the industrial services sector. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. 
• Proficient in market research methodologies and data analysis tools.. 
• Excellent understanding of profitability drivers. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to nontechnical stakeholders. 
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. 

Preferred locations:  Valencia, Spain or Gdynia, Poland. Other Wärtsilä-locations can be considered.
