Join Wärtsilä Voyage, a leading technology company in the Marine and Energy markets, on a journey towards a cleaner, more sustainable future. We are seeking Full-Stack Software Developer to contribute to the development of our port management information system. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team, gain hands-on experience, and make a real impact in the maritime industry.  
About the role:
As our Full-Stack Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work with systems and ideas used across the globe, and in an environment that fosters ideas and innovation. Our teams blend diverse personalities and interests, united by a collaborative and fun-loving culture, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment.  We use C#, .net, SQL and Typescript, also popular frameworks/libraries such as LINQ and Telerik, in a modernized N-tier web application designed for the world's leading ports.
 
This is a hybrid role, requiring 4-days in the Vancouver office.
 
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team members through SCRUM to discuss, and design agile solutions for real world problems. Translate this into implementation and build upon software.
Design, develop, test and deploy new code.
Prioritize and manage development and issue resolution activities.
Participate in our agile development process.
Implement application monitoring tools and proactively monitor application performance.
Work on all aspects of our stack.
Learn about the maritime world and incorporate this understanding into code.
 
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science or other related field of study.
5+ years of demonstrated experience with professional front and back-end development.
Professional expertise in underlying technologies including C#, .Net, SQL, and TypeScript.
Experience working with SQL-based relational databases.
Experience developing complex software projects in commercial settings.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Ability to embrace a fast-moving environment and comfortable with quickly adapting to changing priorities.
