We’re seeking a Software Developer to join our team and help design and develop innovative software solutions for port management and maritime operations.
In this role, you’ll work on scalable solutions built around microservices architecture, supporting both cloud and on-premises environments. You’ll collaborate with global cross-functional teams through SCRUM, helping solve complex challenges across the maritime and logistics industries.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop software solutions for port management.Aid in the design of software architecture centered around microservices, developing deployment, containerized, and coding strategies that will scale and adapt to business needs both on the cloud and on-prem.
Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and methodologies, make proposals of benefits and costs to decision-makers, and watch as theory becomes practice.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams through SCRUM to design and implement agile solutions for complex maritime challenges.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, related field or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a preference on C#, SQL, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as LINQ, .NET, and Angular are a plus.
- Competence with Git.
- The ability to communicate abstract concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in the maritime industry, particularly in port operations or maritime logistics, would be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistical industry practices is also advantageous.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with designing and configuring solutions for both on-premises and Azure cloud deployments, including infrastructure setup, networking configurations, security protocols, and deployment strategies would be an asset.
