We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Service Engineer, 4 stroke to join our team on permanent basis in Vladivostok, Russia.
As a Service Engineer, 4 stroke what will you be doing?


  • Execute planned maintenances and repairing jobs on Wärtsilä OEM engines and itsauxiliaries
  • Overhaul engine components in workshop and at site/on board.
  • Carry out engine product trouble shooting, routine maintenance & components investigation.
  • Check and adjust relevant systems (i.e. auxiliary, propulsion).
  • Perform commissioning of Wärtsilä equipment.
  • Take a part in trouble shooting process.
  • Carry out engine product troubleshooting, routine maintenance & components investigation.
  • Prepare service work reports and travel expense reports on time and with expected Wärtsilä quality.
  • Identify failures, making adjustments, assist on trial runs and testing.
  • Collect and organize time and expense reports. Reporting and informing administrative personnel as required.
  • Working by following the Company guidelines including QEHS requirements.


To be successful in this role, we expect you to have/be:


  • Native Russian
  • English, intermediate level
  • Communication skills & customer relations
  • Strong motivation to learn and grow professionally
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Cultural knowledge and bridging the gaps between different cultures
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Collaborative team player
  • Motivation to travel around Russia for at least 7-8 month per year and also abroad if required.
