Supplier Quality Engineer

Your main responsibilities are

  • Monitor and highlight incoming parts quality performance and give preventive guidelines to management team.
  • Draft incoming parts inspection WI, develop people inspection skills and enforce them effectively.
  • Drive incoming parts quality problems solving timely and effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Execute supplier audits and validate supplier improvement evidence for critical non-conformance upon 8d logic.
  • Work with supplier for their manufacturing error-proofing technologies and defect stop capability setup always.
  • Well preparation with supplier for customer FAT if required, and satisfy customer as a top priority.
  • Others tasks assigned by line manager

Desired Skills:

  • High supplier quality control sense, do right thing first time, and avoid poor quality cost always.
  • knowledge of manufacturing process and testing, in particular welding, casting, forging and machining.
  • Able to work in a distributed team and self-driven approach.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent command in English, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of SAP as advantages.
  • Quality tools skill, including 8D, PDCA, CP, PPAP, PQAP.

 

Education:

  • University / Polytechnic Degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Business or equivalent education.
  • Manufacturing/Technical background & experience. At least 3 years experience as industrial engineer, preferably with experience in Engineering, Manufacturing operations or quality.
  • Can do attitude and result oriented working method.

 

Experience:

  • Relevant technical and manufacturing knowledge, welding working experience are prefer.
  • Professional expertise within Supply Chain management, Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality.
