Plant Manager

We are looking for a Plant Manager. This position is located in Kyaukse, Myanmar.

 

About the position

What will you be doing:

 

As Plant Manager, you will support the team by planning, leading, coaching and managing operation and maintenance activities at the plant and assigned team in order to ensure customer satisfaction and to reach set contractual quality, safety, financial, cost and time targets.

 

We are looking for ambitious individuals who will ensure operational and maintenance reliability and availability of the plant according to contract. And manage stakeholders effectively (customer representatives, employees, colleagues in other departments and management).

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

 

  • Plan, lead and manage operation and maintenance activities at the plant and assigned team.
  • Ensure that the performance targets of the plant are reached according to the contract.
  • Ensure competent resources and competence development within assigned team.
  • Ensure that the condition of the plant and equipments are according to applicable guidelines and policies and take corrective actions when needed. 
  • Ensure that the work is executed at plant according to Wärtsila Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
  • Implement Contract Management action plans, processes and guidelines in the assigned responsibility area.
  • Prepare reports, plans and budgets as instructed by the Contract Manager.
  • Identify and actively seek to improve operational and maintenance reliability and availability of the plant.
  • Develop the operation and maintenance working routines at the plant.
  • Maintain good internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • Either Graduate with 15-20 Years Experience OR Diploma Holder with 20-25 Years experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Working experience in Multi-Engine Wartsila Gas Engine Plant is preferred (preferably on 50SG).
  • Certification in UNIC shall be added advantage to the site functioning (Optional)
