Warehouse Handler

 

to join our team working for a better future.

 

The preferred location for the position is in Hattem, The Netherlands.

 

What you will be doing

 

As a Warehouse Handler your tasks will revolve around inbound and outbound shipments at the workshop, preparing goods for dispatch, delivering goods to the Workshop, and storing goods in temporary storage locations.

 

As Warehouse Handler your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Checking incoming parts and assemblies for quantity, coding, preservation and transport damage.
  • Process delivered documents in the Warehouse Management System (SAP).
  • Inform Quality Control if damage and/or nonconformities are noted and offer materials for inspection.
  • Label order-relevant materials and inform interested parties immediately.
  • Record materials and bring them into the correct status in terms of system technology.
  • Collecting materials from the various storage locations.
  • Ensure materials are correctly labeled according to order specifications.
  • Consolidate orders and check them for accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting technical incompleteness of the order.
  • Packaging of materials according to order specifications (weight, size, preservation).
  • Prepare and report shipment.
  • Check whether the SAP process was followed correctly. Correct and report deviations if necessary.
  • Counting materials and processing the quantities in SAP according to the counting procedure.
  • Working and complying with the safety regulations of the QESH manual and in particular OHSAS18001.
  • Management and distribution of personal protective equipment.
  • Management, maintenance and certification of tools, lifting equipment and packaging machines.
     

You will shine in this role when you have:

 

  • Vocational degree or other relevant educational background, or experience in a similar role.
  • Positive, proactive and service-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative team-player skills.
  • Structured and systematic way of working, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
     

Additionally we expect you to have knowledge of:

 

  • Engine parts and their applications.
  • Operation and safety regulations of forklifts, reach trucks and safe lifting and packaging machines.
  • Operation of the administrative warehouse inventory system; WE-SAP and Schäfer ANT. Both on computers and on scanners.
  • Operate, operate and troubleshoot semi-automatic platform lift systems.
  • Shipping procedures.
  • Type of packaging and packaging materials to be used.
  • Fluency in Dutch and/or English language
