We are seeking an experienced Agreement Manager to lead end-to-end contract delivery for engine power plant operations in Tasiast, Mauritania. This role is accountable for managing operational,commercial, and customer aspects of agreements, ensuring high performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end contract delivery, managing operational, commercial, and people-related aspects of agreements.
  • Ensure effective implementation of agreement management processes, tools, and guidelines.
  • Monitor contract performance, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability targets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Drive contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments aligning business and customer needs .
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and operational risks .
  • Analyze performance data and provide insights for continuous improvement and decision-making .
  • Act as a subject matter expert in plant and agreement management, mentoring internal stakeholders .
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful service delivery .
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance contract execution strategies

 

Requirements 

 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) – Mandatory
  • Degree in Business Management – Added advantage

 

Experience 

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in power plant operations
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in O&M of engine-based power plants
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Proven experience in contract management and delivery
  • Experience working with Wärtsilä engine power plants in a managerial capacity – Mandatory .
  • Strong background in customer relationship management

  • Strong understanding of financial and commercial concepts (profitability, cost control, contract margins)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and drive performance in a multi-cultural environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and risk management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
